WHY

 

  • It is where Feed a family Food Packs are packed for distribution.

  • A meal packaging event is a fun and engaging way to be part of the drive to fight hunger

  • 40 volunteers can package 10 000 meals in under two hours!  Imagine the impact you can make!

 

HOW

 

  • Volunteer at a Meal Packaging Event

    • Public packing events are free, and open to volunteers of all ages

      • Children in grade 5 or lower to be accompanied by an adult

    • High School learners earn community service hours whilst having great fun and meeting new friends at our meal packaging events

  • Become a Volunteer Ambassador

    • Do you have skills and time to contribute on a more regular basis?

    • REQUIREMENTS:

               - Attend training workshops

               - Commit to a monthly schedule

               - Assist with duties involved with a meal packaging event from beginning to end

               - Available for corporate events during the week, and public events on weekends​​

  • We host regular public meal packaging events during the year at our warehouses, as well as shopping centers and service clubs
